Children’s Hunger Alliance (CHA) is a statewide nonprofit organization working to reduce childhood hunger and its long-term impacts on health, education, and economic stability. CHA helps children reach their full potential by providing access to nutritious meals and food education through early childcare providers, schools, after school programs, and weekend and summer meal programs across Ohio. Our vision is a future where all children have the food and knowledge they need to thrive.
CHA is a collaborative, curiosity-driven workplace where learning and professional growth are encouraged. VISTA members are fully integrated into the organization and supported through mentorship, training, and cross-department collaboration. Members have opportunities to meet and interview staff across programs to learn how CHA operates, engages donors and volunteers, and works with elected officials. VISTA members are invited to attend special events as guests and participate in an end-of-year staff retreat.
The office offers free parking, on-site lunch facilities, specialty coffee and tea, and monthly staff breakfast breaks.
