Overview

Our purpose is to provide vital emotional and financial support to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Through programs such as No Grad Left Behind, we ensure every student has the opportunity to celebrate graduation with pride, while equipping families with resources, education, and encouragement to achieve long-term stability and success.

Location

Columbus, OH (primarily local, some travel for events)

Schedule

5-10 hours per week (flexible, with evening/weekend events)

Position Summary

We are seeking two motivated Community Engagement Coordinators to serve as the link between Celebrating One and the broader community. This role is vital in building strong partnerships with community members, businesses, local schools, and organizations. Coordinators will represent Celebrating One at community events, promote our initiatives, and strengthen awareness of our mission.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations to expand program reach.
  • Represent Celebrating One at community events, fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Assist in coordinating outreach campaigns to raise awareness about Celebrating One’s programs.
  • Work closely with schools to promote initiatives such as No Grad Left Behind and Cap the Gap.
  • Support volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts.
  • Identify partnership opportunities to increase sponsor ships and donations.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for Celebrating One, ensuring consistent communication of our mission and values.
  • Track engagement activities and provide regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with diverse groups.
  • Previous experience in community engagement, outreach, education, or nonprofit work preferred.
  • Ability to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Passionate about community service and Celebrating One’s mission.
  • Reliable transportation required.
