Syneos Health is looking for an experienced Social Associate Director. The role is within the integrated media team, responsible for planning and executing advanced social strategy, leading and mentoring a team of social media specialists. The ideal candidate will have proven success managing complex social programs within the pharma/healthcare space while also having a working knowledge of other media programs and can help clients understand the role of social within the larger media landscape.

This position plays an important role in building trust and expertise with our clients and will excel at relaying complex social topics to non‑experts.

• Plan, present and own the success of social engine marketing programs across the largest clients at Syneos Health.
• Lead, mentor and train members of the social team through a social professional development program.
• Develop and implement SOPs governing all aspects of best practice campaign development for the social department.
• Own all areas of campaign development and optimization, from keyword and copy creation to bid management and KPI reporting.
• Provide support to new business through industry analysis and social landscape estimation.
• Regularly author POVs to ensure the team is up to date on the latest social trends and engine algorithm updates.
• Demonstrate outstanding performance in market, exceeding client expectations and KPIs through class‑leading social programs.

• 6+ years of experience leading, executing, and planning Paid Social media campaigns.
• Able to put together and present integrated social strategy.
• Experience participating in pitches for new business and understanding how to operationalize complex asks during the RFP process.
• Experience interacting directly with clients, building relationships and ensuring great campaigns are executed and reported on flawlessly.
• Experience managing and optimizing paid social campaigns across all major social platforms (Linked In, Meta, X, Tik Tok, You Tube) at minimum.
• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data.
• Candidates should be free to travel as‑needed to support the business.
• Experience in pharma or healthcare is required.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $115,000–$130,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
