OPOC.us is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a premier client employer for the position of Marketing Manager. The selected candidate will be employed directly by the client, not by OPOC.us. Employer details will be shared during the interview process.
Position DescriptionThe Marketing Manager will collaborate with internal shareholders to lead the marketing efforts of the company. The Marketing Manager will use creative insights and leadership skills to contribute to the company's reputation, culture, and brand recognition.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manage the entire RFP/RFQ cycle from beginning to end.
- Utilize Microsoft Planner to communicate with shareholders regarding upcoming leads and current pursuits.
- Implement client strategy to collect intel to help with overall messaging and pre‑positioning efforts.
- Create client strategies and capture plans to use as guides in product messaging‑driven content for sub‑missions.
- Understand and communicate the RFP, RFP, and interview requirements to the pursuit team.
- Communicate submissions to internal shareholders.
- Ensure all submissions are completed in a timely manner, with consideration to the brand, and exhibiting accurate information.
- Write, edit, proofread, format, and assemble the required documents for final submission.
- Lead the project interview preparation and team coordination to create presentations and leave‑behind marketing materials.
- Collaborate with partner relationships when outside partners are engaged.
- Update and maintain project data, employee resumes, external company and contact information, client intel, and proposal text in the internal CRM system.
- Create and update graphics library.
- Work with third party vendors in coordinating all project and employee photography on an as‑needed basis.
- Collaborate with internal shareholders in managing content on the company’s internal and external marketing pages.
- Ensure the content on the company website is up‑to‑date and make necessary changes using the content management system.
- Update and maintain project data, employee resumes, external company and contact information, client intel, and proposal text in the internal CRM system.
- Create and update graphics library.
- Work with third‑party vendors in coordinating all project and employee photography on an as‑needed basis.
- Collaborate with partner relationships when outside partners are engaged.

- Work with internal shareholders to develop and execute annual marketing plans for identified clients and projects for the year.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create and post monthly news items, project updates, press releases, and any other content on the company website and Linked In.
- Create and send internal email communications and digital newsletters.
- Create/update brochures, project sheaths, resumes, banners, flyers, job site signs, etc.
- Coordinate and deliver the organization and logistics of internal company events and external industry events, including conferences and webinars.
- Manage and oversee purchasing of all company apparel and swag, including shirts, safety vests, hats, hard hats, backpacks, etc.
- Ensure brand consistency and effective brand awareness through submissions, awards, conferences, sponsor ships, regulatory associations, media placements, etc.
- Provide ongoing guidance to internal staff on brand requirements and compliance.
- Possess a strong drive to succeed.
- Maintain an excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skill set.
- Minimum 5+ years in marketing, preferably within the AEC industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or marketing, or similar education or experience.
- Referral experience in proposal development and presentation planning, layout, and editing for the AEC industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Office Suite, including Outlook, Planner, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Remote and on‑site communication expertise and experience with CRM systems.
- Experience with press releases, Linked In, and website content management.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities with flexibility and organization.
