Job SummaryThe Engineering Intern will support manufacturing and operations teams in process improvement, machine cycle time studies, and documentation management. This internship provides hands‑on experience in optimizing production processes and maintaining manufacturing documentation.
Essential Functions- Support process improvement initiatives, including time studies and cycle time analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in coordinating cross‑departmental projects and help implement new manufacturing processes.
- Analyze production data and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices in production and process development.
No supervisory responsibility
Minimum Qualifications- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from four‑year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - High School diploma or GED
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.
