Powder Coater

Amazing contract to hire opportunity for an experienced Powder Coater to join a premier custom Job Shop on the East side!

For more than 40 years, this precision Machine Shop in Columbus has been performing sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly and finishing for manufacturers in a wide range of industries. The Powder Coater will perform coating tasks on a variety of products and duties will include, masking parts, using hand tools, loading and unloading a conveyor line and a booth, and reading and interpreting part specs and drawings.

This position is 2nd shift: 3:15pm - 1:45am, Mon-Thurs. Will train on 1st Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p. Pay rate will be minimum $20/hr and is negotiable based on experience! Great opportunity to grow with an established company!

Experience:

-2 yrs. experience in Powder Coating
-Ability to read and interpret specs/prints
-Ability to use hand tools with strong manual dexterity
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
