Job Title:

Chemical Operator 20-27/hr Job Description

As a Chemical Operator, you will play a vital role in overseeing chemical reactions and monitoring equipment to ensure product quality. Assigned typically to the 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am), you will collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain operational parameters, draw samples for laboratory analysis, and keep detailed production logs.

Responsibilities
  • Observe chemical reactions and monitor equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Adjust operations based on instructions from supervisors or control laboratories.
  • Maintain prescribed operational parameters and ensure product quality.
  • Draw product samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Maintain detailed production logs.
Essential Skills
  • Understanding of chemical processes and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in operating reactors, mixers, pumps, valves, and other plant machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of chemical reactions, batching, and formulation techniques.
