We produce high-quality ready‑to‑eat hamburger buns and English muffins for over 2,000 quick‑service restaurants, retail chains, and sandwich makers across the Midwest. Our new Columbus facility reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence — featuring a modern production line capable of producing over 8,000 buns per hour.
We are also scheduled to begin producing pancakes in August, further broadening our product capabilities. As we are near the completion of construction, we’re building up our team and looking for dedicated individuals to be a part of this exciting new chapter.
- Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (based on experience)

This position is responsible for leading development, compliance, training, problem solving, best practice development, and technical support in sanitation. You will direct the work activities of the facility sanitation teams to ensure the plant and grounds are in a food‑safe and job‑safe manner to produce product. Adheres to programs and procedures in the Food Safety and Quality Manual. Directly supervises hourly sanitation employees.

- Organize the workforce according to schedule and assign sanitation tasks
- Coordinate and supervise tasks done by the sanitation team
- Verify satisfactory completion of all sanitation tasks
- Coach, train, and mentor sanitation team members
- Ensure the department has the appropriate tools and that sanitation team members work safely
- Advise Plant Manager of tools/equipment required
- Review sanitation program, policies, and documentation to verify it covers all necessary tasks
- Complete all required FSQA, Safety and Job training and be competent
- Observe and understand all company rules, follow all safety programs, wear proper PPE and work safely
- Use cleaning chemicals as specified on manufacturers label
- Read, comprehend, and complete required forms
- Conduct and/or verify post‑cleaning evaluations
- Conduct chemical concentration checks
- Order, inventory and maintain supply levels
- Validate equipment cleaning procedures and pest program
- Maintain sanitation logs and reports
- Participate in and support all third‑party or customer audits
- Investigate sanitation deviations
- Coordinate with maintenance department to dismantle equipment beyond sanitation team capability
- Monitor Clean in Place (CIP) systems
- Assist in and create effective SSOPs
- Verify effective cleaning according to program requirements (ATP, pH, inspections)
- Train and review competencies of sanitation team members
- Alternate member of the Food Safety team
- Report and take necessary action to prevent food safety, legality and quality problems
- Follow and enforce programs and procedures outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to support compliance with the GFSI standard and other audits
- Strong organizational skills
