Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Apprentice, where you will play a crucial role in supporting journeyman fitters and sheet metal technicians. You will gain hands‑on experience in tasks such as sheet metal assembly, pipe assembly, setting material, site cleanup, fire watch, and material layouts.

• Assist journeyman fitters and sheet metal technicians with various tasks.
• Participate in sheet metal and pipe assembly.
• Aid in setting materials and conducting site cleanups.
• Perform fire watch duties.
• Contribute to material layouts.

• Possess OSHA 10 certification.
• Have 1+ years of experience working on a construction site.
• Be comfortable working at heights.
• Wear a Type 2 hard hat with a chin strap.

• Experience as a construction general laborer.
• Mechanically inclined with skills in paint preparation and using a paint roller.

Work at a distinguished project site with a schedule from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 6 AM to noon on Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts are available. Experience a structured environment with necessary equipment provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

The range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
