Director of Behavioral Health; others as appropriate

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday, varied schedule based on caseload.

Purpose

The Program Manager identifies as the lead clinician for a caseload of clients and staff under the direction of the assistant director. Primary responsibilities include training and ongoing support of 1:1 staff providing treatment services to clients in the AIC and serving as the support team member for all case needs in collaboration with the Program Supervisor. This position includes direct service provision with clients, and understanding, monitoring, and communicating all daily aspects of the implementation of the client’s treatment plan, services and activities to be implemented.

Education Required

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 5 years relevant experience, enrolled in ABA Certificate or Masters Program preferred.

Credentials Required

Certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing with BACB preferred. Any required licenses and/or certificates must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

Productivity Requirement

28 hours/week; specific to client caseload.

Specific Duties , Competencies, and Behaviors
  • Follow a set caseload schedule as directed.
  • Ensure workforce composition supports the agency mission, and the program and client needs including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, hiring, managing referrals and supporting the client through the referral and intake process.
  • Provide staff support including creating new hire training schedules, mentoring and educating new staff with a BST model, overseeing staff competency, and ensuring availability of necessary training materials.
  • Create, update, and monitor staff member work schedules, including direct treatment, office time, and travel time.
  • Ensure team members complete all agency policies in schedule entry, appointment conversion, and documentation, and communicate team member needs and concerns with the Director.
  • Cover shifts as needed (absences, changing client needs) and complete 30/90‑day feedback forms and assist with annual appraisals of QBHS team members.
  • Monitor and communicate client progress and needs, assist the Program Supervisor in opening new cases, serve as the facilitator for the client's team, and manage client and team schedules.
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding case management topics like staff schedules and materials needed for treatment programming.
