The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing daily logistics operations. This position requires directing staff, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and meeting shipping and receiving goals. The Warehouse Lead serves as a liaison between management and floor staff, actively troubleshooting issues, training new hires, and operating equipment to maintain efficient and accurate workflows.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Direct and manage staff activities to meet shipping and receiving goals.
- Manage inventory and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Act as a bridge between management and floor staff, addressing any issues that arise.
- Train new hires to ensure they are equipped with necessary skills.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts to support logistical operations.
- Proficiency in inventory control and management.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively.
- Forklift operation skills.
Skills & Qualifications
