Pre-Contruction Project Manager

Overview

Blast One, a rapidly expanding, family-oriented global leader in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry, is looking for a Pre-Construction Project Manager to help shape opportunities into winning projects.

Working alongside our Client Partnerships Executives (responsible for winning the job) and Project Executives (responsible for cradle-to-grave delivery), you'll be a critical support resource-developing technical solutions, scopes, budgets, and presentations that set projects up for profitable success.

The Role

As a Pre-Construction Project Manager, you will:

• Partner with Sales and Project Executives to progress opportunities from early client engagement through signed contract.

• Develop Basis of Design documents, draft scopes, and project budgets.

• Assist with high-level project schedules, utility assessments, and early risk identification.

• Prepare polished proposals, including Excel budgets, presentations, and visuals that communicate Blast One's unique solutions.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive pricing.

• Participate in client meetings, documenting action items and ensuring timely follow-up.

• Support Project Executives in maintaining continuity from pre-construction into project delivery.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project management in industrial/construction settings.

• Strong technical aptitude with a design/build background.

• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and engineering drawings.

• Skilled in developing cost budgets, schedules, and proposal documents.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with confidence in front of clients and executives.

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management required.

• PMP/PMI certification preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  Procore and 3D modeling experience a plus.
