Practice Manager - Polaris at Banfield Pet Hospital

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations, support the medical team in delivering high-quality veterinary care, and foster an engaging team environment. You will collaborate with veterinary staff, field leadership, corporate headquarters and, if applicable, Pet Smart associates to optimize growth for both the hospital and Banfield. The role also supports your professional growth through various educational opportunities and resources.

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager oversees daily operations to enable the medical team to focus on delivering exceptional veterinary care.

Full-Time

• Required Education/Licenses:
  Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Required Experience:
  
  Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.).

• Educating associates on Banfield guidelines/practices
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital
• Dealing with daily operations
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs

• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Conflict management experience
• Leadership and analytical know-how

• Salary range for this role: $63,822.10 - $85,187.47. Pay rates are dependent on experience, skill level, education, and geographic location.
