KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Create and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones; allocate resources; coordinate stakeholders; manage budgets.
- Review drawings and specifications, reconcile gaps, issue RFIs, price change orders, reconcile revisions; review packages for each project; assemble submittals; procure packages; maintain internal schedule; plan with Project Lead; review progress weekly.
- Project Execution and Supervision: Oversee field staff, ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards; track costs and implement cost‑saving measures; maintain quality control; enforce safety protocols; administer contracts; obtain permits; ensure compliance with codes.
- Resolve issues; make decisions to keep projects on track; monitor daily progress; ensure protocols are followed; attend meetings; create RFIs; create and track change proposals and change orders; provide change‑order information to Accounting.
- Project Closeout: Coordinate final inspections; complete closed‑out documentation and final reports; conduct post‑project evaluations.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead and motivate staff; provide training and development; coach employees; compile closeout documents; review time‑off requests; attend required meetings.
- Use provided templates, file organization structure, or software for project management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the commercial electrical field.
- New construction experience.
- Industrial/Manufacturing project knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Journeyman electrician or completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
- Fire alarm license.
- PMP or other project‑management certification.
