Our client is a lower middle market, private equity backed company in the healthcare space. The Company’s success has been driven by many factors. The CFO is a hands-on senior leadership role that will assume responsibility for the Company’s financial function and become a key member of the executive team. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of senior leadership experience, a hands-on style, financial expertise, functional management skills, business acumen, and the leadership style necessary to help enable the Company’s vision of growing and maintaining a leadership position in their market.
This CFO will play a key role in helping to aggressively scale this business. The candidate will partner with the sponsor and executive team to professionalize and grow the business.
Must have's include:
- Must currently reside in the greater Columbus area or within a daily commutable distance.
- Given the expected growth trajectory, the ideal CFO candidate will have extensive experience as CFO or as a senior financial leader within a lower-middle market size and growth oriented multi-site company, where s/he was in a hands-on role as the company scaled.
- A proven track record working in a growth oriented company where you played a key role in professionalizing the company to support growth while also working with reputable investors.
- Experience leading M&A efforts, specifically on the integration side.
- A Certified Public Account (CPA) designation or MBA is required and a minimum of three years of public accounting experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working at a strategic level as a partner to the Board, CEO, operations and other key executives helping shape the direction of the Company.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, team building, and strategically focused leadership skills that include superior communications, team-based motivational tactics, and creative instincts.
