Safety Manager

Overview

Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager in Columbus, OH. This is a 1099 contract position (no per-diem) working on-site with a client overseeing metal panel work on a commercial construction project.

• 40-50 hours per week;
  Monday‑Friday
• Contract length: 1 month
• BCSP certifications are preferred; OSHA‑510 required on‑site
• Minimum of 5 years of recent on‑site Safety Management experience
• Experience with working from heights, swing stage, fall protection, and scaffold inspections preferred

• Conduct project safety inspections and orientations
• Provide safety training as requested or required
• Observe and monitor worksite employees and safety practices
• Complete document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management
• Communicate safety standards between trades, GC, and subcontractors
