As a Facilities Assistant
, you will help provide a clean and safe environment for clients. You will assist the facilities manager with repairs and upkeep of the grounds, buildings, and fleet.

• High school diploma
• 3 years’ experience in general maintenance or repair work

• General maintenance and repairs of facility, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure that HVAC and heating systems are functional, and filters are changed regularly.
• Maintain grounds and keep in a clean, orderly manner, including mowing, weeding, and general landscaping.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting as needed that does not require a permit or license.
• Assist in ordering general maintenance supplies and keeping the storage room orderly.
• Assist in light housekeeping duties.
• Serve as liaison for contractors, vendors, and suppliers to the Facilities Manager and Executive Director.
• Abide by all health and safety guidelines and policies of the program and state, federal, and accreditation statutes.
• Maintain facility vehicle(s), including oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and tags.
• Other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Executive Director.
