Base pay range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program. Responsibilities- Supervise the general operating maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to maintain proper care.
- Supervise scheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests by residents for items needing repair in rooms, including plumbing, electrical, heating and light bulb replacement.
- Supervise repairs and maintain vacated rooms timely, including painting walls and cleaning carpets. Inspect completed work for conformance to standards and policies.
- Ensure walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas are properly maintained.
- Assist in training maintenance staff.
- Maintain positive communication with local fire marshal, building inspector, state elevator inspector, and other governing jurisdictions.
- Conduct in-service fire safety training for all employees.
- Repair walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in common areas.
- Assess and correct plumbing and electrical problems within legal scope of local and state codes.
- Review safety data sheets for hazardous chemical exposure and take necessary precautions.
- Assess property damage and file claims in accordance with company policy.
- May directly supervise maintenance technicians and building engineers, delegating tasks, hiring, training, evaluating performance, resolving disciplinary issues, and terminating.

Qualifications- Education
:
High school diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. - Certifications, Licenses, and Requirements
