OverviewThis is a part-time role for an Attorney for the Ohio Air National Guard for an attorney to serve as a Judge Advocate. Responsibilities include working one weekend a month and various training days throughout the year, typically limited to two weeks. Judge Advocates will provide legal counsel and representation on various matters, including military justice, administrative law, family law, labor and employment law, and other legal issues related to operations and personnel.
Responsibilities include advising commanders, conducting investigations, assisting members with legal assistance, and ensuring compliance with regulations and legal procedures.

Qualifications- Proficiency in addressing a variety of legal issues, including employment and general legal assistance matters.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide accurate legal advice under pressure.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
- Ability to meet Air National Guard Judge Advocate General standards.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
- Prior military service or understanding of military protocols is not required.
