Atkins & Atkins is a busy and growing family law firm seeking an Associate Attorney who wants hands-on experience in divorce, custody, child support, and post-decree litigation — with mentorship, structure, and room to develop confidence and judgment.

This role is ideal for someone who is smart, reliable, and motivated
, even if you’re still building experience.

• Draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda in active family law cases
• Assist with hearings, pretrials, depositions, and mediations
• Communicate with clients (with guidance and support)
• Conduct legal research and learn how to apply it strategically
• Learn how real cases are managed — deadlines, billing, client expectations
• Receive direct feedback and mentorship from experienced attorneys

You will not be expected to know everything on day one. You will be expected to care, show up, and improve.

• Ohio-licensed attorney (or pending admission)
• 0–4 years of experience
• Strong writing skills and solid research instincts
• Organized, dependable, and willing to ask questions
• Interested in family law and client-facing litigation
• Professional, kind, and able to work with people under stress

Family law experience is helpful, but not required

Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, skill, and demonstrated judgment. The expected salary range for this role is $65,000-$90,000 with opportunity for bonus and with final compensation determined based on qualifications and prior experience.
