Overview
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an Assistant Attorney General to provide legal counsel and representation on matters involving land reutilization corporations, nuisance property remediation, and distressed real estate. This position plays a critical role in addressing issues related to vacant, abandoned, and tax-delinquent properties across Ohio. As an authorized agent of the Attorney General, you will appear before courts and administrative boards, advise state agencies, and develop legal strategies to support property remediation and redevelopment efforts.
This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarters location is 30
E. Broad St., Columbus.
- Appear before courts and administrative boards as an authorized agent of the Attorney General.
- Advise state agencies on legal matters related to land reutilization, nuisance property remediation, and distressed real estate.
- Develop legal strategies to support property remediation and redevelopment efforts.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address vacant, abandoned, and tax-delinquent properties across Ohio.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code
