Job Description
- Draft correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement documents.
- Conduct legal research in a variety of family law contexts.
- Prepare for and attend hearings and other legal proceedings, including depositions, final and pretrial hearings, case management and status conferences, and settlement negotiations.
- Meet with clients.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in Domestic Relations/Family Law.
- Experience litigating cases is a plus.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research.
- Highly organized and comfortable handling multiple cases at once.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Great attention to detail when conducting legal research and drafting pleadings.
- Ability to commute/relocate to Columbus, Ohio 43201 before starting work.
