Overview
Judicial Law Clerks review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions and memoranda in support of discretionary jurisdiction. In addition, Judicial Law Clerks research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Justice.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions and memoranda in support of discretionary jurisdiction.
- Research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Justice.
- Licensed attorney or a recent law school graduate who is sitting for a bar examination prior to the commencement date of the position.
- Prior clerkship experience is strongly preferred.
- The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently is required.
- Superior research, analytical, and writing abilities are mandatory.
