Corporate Legal Assistant (Non-Paralegal)
Location:Columbus, Ohio – On-site

The Corporate Legal Assistant provides administrative and legal support to attorneys handling corporate, insurance, and transactional matters. This is a non-paralegal position focused on document preparation, coordination, and workflow support rather than substantive legal analysis.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Preparing, formatting, proofreading, and organizing legal documents
- Assisting with business formations and maintaining corporate records
- Supporting Directors & Officers liability and other corporate insurance-related matters
- Assisting with contracts, real estate deeds, and corporate real estate documentation
- Supporting attorneys on M&A and intellectual property-related matters
- Managing electronic and physical files
- Coordinating deadlines, calendars, and document execution
- Communicating professionally with attorneys, clients, and internal team members
- Providing general legal administrative support as needed
- Prior experience as a legal assistant in a law firm or corporate legal environment
- Exposure to corporate or transactional law strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal office technology
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach
