Junior Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst will work as part of the larger team to perform Level 1 support for incidents for assigned applications, while helping to ensure consistency with company strategy and goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains and modifies software/application programs as assigned.
• Perform first level support for production incident tickets.
• Perform research to assist in the resolution of production incident tickets.
• Works with other team members to research and ensure the restart of system jobs as needed.
• Assist with production releases and support.
• Create presentation content for team presentations to senior leadership.
• Aid in the coordination of disaster recovery events.
• Support vulnerability management activities and the triage of events.
• Maintain and update documentation of program and procedure changes and other system documentation.
• Work with technical teams interfacing with assigned applications to mitigate issues.
• Actively communicate with stakeholders, users, and teams to provide technical support.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings as needed.
• Participates in the team’s on-call rotation as scheduled.
• Ensures application compliance with all standards within CMDB.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Related Field.
• Experience with SQL.
• Basic understanding of databases.
• Experience MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience creating process maps and diagrams.
• Strong technical skills and a good understanding of software development principles and project life cycles.
• Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain project risks and issues, and IT related concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to translate technology into relatable concepts for business partners and stakeholders.
• High motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all business and IT areas.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• High level of professionalism, confidence, and ability to build credibility with team members and business partners.
