Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Fully Remote — EST

Role Overview:

We are seeking QA Analysts to support a Test Lead in ensuring the quality and reliability of SaaS applications. This role is primarily focused on manual testing and requires strong collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will help develop and execute test cases, facilitate testing sessions with business users, and coordinate defect tracking and resolution. This role requires someone who can quickly understand business process flows, identify issues, and help prioritize defects to support high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases and test plans based on functional and technical requirements.
• Support the Test Lead in coordinating testing activities across teams.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders.
• Document, track, and manage defects through the full lifecycle.
• Coordinate defect triage meetings and help prioritize issues with development and product teams.
• Develop a strong understanding of business process flows to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Monitor testing progress and provide clear updates on testing status and issues.
• Help ensure software releases meet quality expectations and business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in QA or software testing, with strong manual testing experience.
• Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans.
• Strong experience with defect reporting, tracking, and coordination.
• Ability to understand business workflows and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Experience facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms.
