Job Summary
The System Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of complex systems architecture. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The System Architect ensures that systems are scalable, reliable, and meet the organization's needs.

Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions / Competencies- Creates comprehensive architectural designs for systems, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
- Develops detailed technical specifications, system diagrams, and documentation.
- Works with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other architects to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicates architectural decisions and strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluates and recommends appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for system development.
- Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architecture decisions.
- Provides guidance and technical leadership during the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Conducts code and design reviews to ensure compliance with architecture guidelines.
- Monitors system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Identifies and resolves architectural issues and bottlenecks.
- Ensures systems comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implements security best practices in system design and development.
- Experience with gathering and modeling data for system capacity and licensing planning.
- 50-70% Travel
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles and practices
- Experience building system capacity forecasts
- Proficiency in system design and modeling tools (e.g., UML, Archi Mate) and programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python)
- Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Understanding of network architecture and protocols
- Familiarity with Computing, Networking, Storage, Data Centers, Asset
360. - Awareness of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Understands and analyzes business requirements
- Design scalable, high-performance systems
- Identify and mitigate risks in system designs
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $ to $ annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
