Purpose of PositionThe Cybersecurity Analyst tests, assesses, identifies, and reports on risks and vulnerabilities ntifies security risks and exposures. Collaborates with remediation teams on most efficient remediation paths. Presents findings to leadership and assists in finding areas of improvement.
Tasks And Responsibilities- Must stay up to date on the latest security trends and vulnerabilities
- Responsible for ensuring coverage of Net Jets assets with our vulnerability management tooling
- Responsible for ensuring efficient prioritization and assignment of findings to responsible teams
- Reporting on vulnerability and configuration compliance status
- Triaging Known Exploited Vulnerabilities
- Assisting in remediation guidance or exception handling
- Assist in documenting policies, procedures and standards
- Assist in recommending changes in security policies and practices
- Assist in research of mechanisms and tools for control compliance
- Assist in providing evidence for periodic audits of business entities
- Assist in providing consultative security expertise to business units and Corporate IT teams in support of projects as needed

EducationBachelor's in Information Technology or Computer Science

2-4 years of experience

- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Understanding of basic Operating System functions/processes for Linux, Windows, MacOS.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues and recommend potential solutions.
- Basic/Intermediate Python scripting and interpretation
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively on solutions to mitigate risks
- Certifications such as GSEC, Security+, SSCP/CysA+, GEVA/GCVA, or Pentest+ preferred
- Bachelors in information technology, mathematics, engineering, computer science (or related field) or relevant years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- 2-4 years of administration of workstation/server platforms OR 2-4 years of vulnerability management experience (or a combination of the two) preferred
