Overview

TEKsystems is seeking Healthcare IT Imaging & Deployment Technicians to support a high-visibility, enterprise-wide PACS implementation for a large healthcare organization. This role will focus on the onsite imaging, deployment, and configuration of radiologist diagnostic workstations as part of a transition to a cloud-based PACS platform. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role within hospital environments and is critical to ensuring radiologists receive fully optimized, high-performance diagnostic systems that support patient care and clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform onsite imaging and deployment of radiologist workstations, including:
    • Operating system imaging
    • Software installation
    • Diagnostic monitor calibration
    • Peripheral setup (monitors, dictation devices, printers, etc.)
  • Configure and deploy diagnostic and viewing workstations tailored to clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, PACS administrators, clinical IT teams, and imaging vendors.
  • Conduct pre-deployment site readiness assessments (network, power, ergonomics).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after deployment.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet performance, security, and clinical standards.
  • Document workstation configurations, deployment progress, and asset tracking per project standards.
  • Coordinate hardware logistics and software licensing with internal teams and vendors.
  • Support network connectivity and ensure hardware/software compatibility across environments.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT Imaging & Deployment
  • Strong proficiency imaging and re-imaging Windows-based laptops and desktops
    • Experience with SCCM, MDT, or similar deployment tools
  • Experience configuring diagnostic workstations
  • Prior experience in healthcare IT environments
    • Supporting clinical end users and healthcare applications
    • PACS experience preferred (not required)
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Desktop and hardware troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clinical staff
  • General IT hardware support experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
