Senior Network Engineer; F5

Description Requirements

• A minimum of 5–7 years of hands‑on IT and network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A combination of equivalent education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Hands‑on experience with F5 LTM (iRules, Data Groups, certificate management)
• Experience with F5 GTM (WIPs, DNS zones, record creation)
• Ability to interface and provide quality support to partners and internal employees
• Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
• Solid general networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
• Experience with F5 DNS and its role in enterprise environments
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced enterprise‑level environment

• F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG‑IP Administrator) are a strong plus
• CCNA certification is a plus but not required
• Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools related to F5 and network infrastructure

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $108,400 to $135,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.

Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay.
