Lead Business Intelligence Developer role at Nationwide Children's Hospital
.
Leads the analysis of the hospital’s current information systems and manages the design, development, implementation and support of areas of improvement.
Essential Functions- Consults with IS Management to evaluate and make recommendations for improvements.
- Proactively monitors and analyzes system performance to detect and resolve production system issues, and performing stringent system testing before implementing new solutions or system changes.
- Maintains systems to keep information and resources secure and safe from known vulnerabilities to include updating applications and systems with security patches and code updates, applying appropriate virus protection, and testing changes before placing into production environments.
- Ensures compliance with security and regulatory standards to assure data integrity and system survivability by developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans.
- Leads teams on large, complex projects involving cross-functional departments, high impact to customers, and large budgets. Provides leadership when working with other IS staff in functional or cross-functional teams to meet goals, objectives, and responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience, required

- Supervisory experience, preferred.
- Project management experience, preferred.
