Overview
The Varicent Developer / Analyst will design, build, and maintain complex calculation logic, data imports, workflows, and Presenter Adaptive Reports within the Varicent ICM platform.
This role supports compensation, sales operations, and HR by delivering accurate and scalable incentive compensation models.
Responsibilities include developing data integrations, administering web-based configuration tools, supporting payout operations, and driving continuous improvement across compensation processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and test Varicent ICM calculation logic, data stores, workflows, quotas, payout logic, and model updates.
- Configure and optimize Presenter Adaptive Reports for dashboards, payout summaries, audit views, analytics, and workflow-driven reporting components.
- Build SQL scripts, data validations, and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Develop dynamic Presenter Adaptive Reports to visualize compensation metrics, plan performance, and payout details.
- Lead UAT, regression testing, data validation, and audit processes to ensure accuracy of compensation models.
- Troubleshoot payout discrepancies, data anomalies, workflow issues, and model performance.
- Support monthly payout processing, operational cycles, and compensation timelines.
- Configure and manage Varicent Web Admin and web forms to support workflows, approvals, object updates, and user interactions.
- Stay current on Varicent product enhancements and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience designing and building Varicent ICM solutions, including calculations, workflows, data stores, and reporting.
- Mandatory expertise with Presenter Adaptive Reports, including building and optimizing interactive reporting content.
- Proficiency in SQL, relational database structures, and ETL processes.
- Experience with compensation plan modeling, crediting, quotas, and payout processes.
- Experience with Varicent Web Admin and web form configuration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
