Business Analyst

This is a hybrid position. Will need to work 3 days a week in offices located in Columbus, OH.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be joining our team of talented experts. The right candidate will possess the following experience:

• Manages ongoing relationship with business partner (Product) to drive satisfaction.
• Coordinates project delivery by facilitating design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
• Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture team and identifies solution interdependencies.
• Serve as a key liaison to Product and other departments that have specific business functions.
• Collaborate with multiple Product, Shared Services and Backend Data teams to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions.
• Responsible for eliciting high level requirements and Acceptance Criteria provided by the Product team, creating and refining epics and stories to Dev Ready.
• Answer questions and clarify requirements for projects and enhancements during the estimation, refinement, development and QA process.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining requirements traceability and facilitating refinement sessions.
• Works independently and proactively to meet Refinement deadlines, i.e., ensuring the backlog is always adequately filled with fully refined stories.
• Creates meeting agendas with team input. Captures, assigns and tracks meeting action items and follow-ups.
• Establishes and leads agile practices including sprint planning, team stand-ups, retrospectives and design reviews/demos.
• Creates and maintains the team's sprint plans and backlog in identified system (ex Jira, Azure Dev Ops)
• Tracks team capacity through sprint capacity and velocity. Identifies if new skillsets are needed and works with LOB leaders to identify and ramp in new individuals.
• Reports on project budget and proactively identifies potential impacts to the budget escalating if needed through Change Control processes.

• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints.
• Be an independent problem solver with the ability to creatively translate business data/requirements into technical solutions.
• Have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Anticipate change and quickly prioritize accordingly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or other related field.
• 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in software development.
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Direct experience with client / stakeholder communications
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements.
• Experience with Agile / Lean methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Products;
  Excel, Word and Visio.
• Experience with project tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or other Agile tools).
