Overview
Experience Leveraging GenAI
Preferred Qualification - Experience in delivery Transformation in BFSI domain
Technical, domain and process certification is an added advantage.

- Technical Oversight Java centric Engineering
- Provide architectural and engineering oversight for Java Spring Boot microservices, cloud native patterns and integration ecosystems
- Transformation initiatives including cloud migration, microservices adoption, platform engineering and automation
- Conduct architecture and solution assessments, propose innovation accelerators, reusable assets and automation frameworks
- Promote AI assisted engineering and productivity enablers in line with Virtusa’s AI first direction
- Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, API, Microservices, event driven architecture
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP;
Dev Ops pipelines:
Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Argo, Kubernetes - Architecture blueprints and NFR driven engineering
- Executive communication and negotiation
- Strategic storytelling and roadmap articulation
- Conflict resolution and stakeholder influence
- Strong analytical and decision making ability
- Required:
20 to 25 years in technology delivery, engineering leadership or program management - Proven leadership across large scale enterprise Java programs, distributed systems and modernization initiatives
- Experience handling large multi million dollar engagements with distributed delivery models onsite offshore
- Demonstrated success in client facing leadership roles within IT services
- Experience delivering transformation in BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom or Tech domains
- Certifications:
Cloud Architect, AWS, Azure, GCP, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2 (optional but beneficial) - Experience leveraging GenAI for engineering productivity and delivery acceleration
