Overview
Insight Global is seeking a PC Technician to perform Tier 2 troubleshooting and incident resolution support for the Service Desk. Responsibilities include incident and request processing via Jira Service Management. Requests include provisioning of accessory hardware, software deployments, deskside support break/fix, and conference room equipment support. The role includes installation, configuration, and ongoing support of desktop computers, peripherals, and video conferencing equipment.
The technician will track corporate end user technology assets throughout their lifecycle and maintain CMDB records. This role also participates as a resource on IT projects and may contribute to computer deployments, OS upgrades and migrations, infrastructure upgrades, application upgrades, technology lifecycle refreshes, and continuous improvement efforts. They will perform computer imaging, configuration, profile migration, and software deployment using deployment tools such as Microsoft Intune, and contribute to documentation of standard operating procedures and knowledge base.
Adheres to established SLAs and is responsive to performance metrics. The client is moving to a new location, and these roles are designed to support the infrastructure prior to the move.
Pay: 28-30/hr

Skills and Requirements- 3-7 years of Windows/Intel PC hardware and software experience supporting a client base of 500+ customers in a 24x7x365 environment
- Exceptional working knowledge of personal computers, accessories, peripherals, and a strong understanding of hardware refreshes/reimaging
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS (Windows 10/11), Office Suite, and Endpoint Management tools (SCCM/Intune)
- Experience with Service Now, Active Directory, Intune, and CMDB tools
- Knowledge and understanding of ITIL concepts
- Experience with Apple Macs and/or JAMF is a plus
- Experience with VDI (Citrix, Microsoft, Amazon Workspace) is a plus
- Certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, etc.) are a plus
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (batch, SQL, Power Shell) are a plus
