Senior IT Business Analyst

Day to day:

Our utility client is looking for a Senior-level IT Business Analyst to join their team. This role serves as a pivotal bridge between business operations stakeholders and Agile software development teams, requiring a pseudo-technical understanding of how software applications support operational processes. You will leverage your expertise to align business needs with technical solutions, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and driving process improvements.

Collaborating across technology teams and business partners, you will lead the entire enhancement lifecycle of our core platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions for our organization. Prior experience in the energy industry or B2B applications is a plus, but your ability to quickly learn and adapt to new domains is essential.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
• Demonstrated success in remote team working models.
• Basic knowledge of SQL query development is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule: Standard M-F 85 (Potential for bi-weekly after-hours work to support deployments - Will typically expect worker to start late/leave early to stay at 40 hours unless OT is needed and pre-approved.)

Duration: 3 mo. Contract + possible ext. Potential to convert

Pay Rate: $71.88/hr
