Database Administrator

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Database Administrator to join one of our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a global, high-availability environment supporting enterprise-level databases. You’ll play a key role in maintaining secure, high-performing systems while contributing to database development projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers hands-on technical depth and exposure to modern cloud technologies.

• Support database development projects with SQL scripting and physical design
• Install, patch, tune, and manage Oracle and MS SQL database systems
• Implement and maintain high-availability solutions (Always On, Oracle RAC)
• Perform backups and recovery using enterprise tools (RMAN/TSM)
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for global operations
• Collaborate with managers and leads on architecture and performance improvements

• 4+ years administering MS SQL and Oracle on Windows/UNIX/Linux
• Experience with high-availability architectures (Always On, Data Guard, RAC)
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Power Shell, and Unix shell scripting skills
• Hands-on performance tuning and monitoring experience
• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS RDS/Aurora/Redshift, MySQL, Postgre
