Overview
The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of data across the Company’s customer base. This is a client-facing role that partners directly with customers and data providers to maintain high data quality standards, conduct data audits, and resolve complex data issues. The Data Quality Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to customers while collaborating closely with internal teams to continuously improve data processes and reporting.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding data quality issues, providing proactive communication and expert guidance
- Conduct on-site and remote data audits to evaluate data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards
- Monitor and validate incoming data files to ensure timely processing and adherence to quality specifications
- Research and investigate complex data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Educate customers on data submission best practices, reporting requirements, and data quality standards
- Develop, maintain, and update documentation related to data quality processes, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with sales, implementation, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer data experience
- Support statistical reporting initiatives and provide analytical insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Design and execute testing protocols for new data integrations, system enhancements, and updates
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance data quality and operational efficiency
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in data quality, data operations, or a related analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel for on-site data audits as required
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, AI tools and emerging technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in banking, finance, or financial services data operations
- Experience conducting data audits or quality assurance reviews
- Knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Familiarity with SQL or database query tools
- Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection
- Experience using teleconferencing tools
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace
- Access to a smartphone or mobile device
