Our client, a leading organization in the Utility Industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Now CMDB/Discovery – Architect: ITIL Architect to join their dynamic team. As a Service Now CMDB/Discovery – Architect: ITIL Architect, you will be an integral part of the ITIL Service Operations team, supporting critical infrastructure and process improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Service Now Architect

Remote from one of the following locations only: OH, OK, TX, VA, WV, IN, IL, KY, MI.

• Provide hands‑on expertise with Integration and data ingestion systems, Process/data flow orchestration implementation.
• Collaborate with ITIL Service Operations process owners, Configuration Item data owners, and stakeholders to implement best practices, processes, standards, and policies.
• Support and optimize Service Now Discovery and CMDB processes to align with organizational strategic objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discovery-related errors, including ECC Queue issues and script execution failures, ensuring security and compliance standards are maintained.
• Develop and support audit processes to identify data gaps, stale data, or misclassified CIs and implement corrective actions.

• 4+ years of experience supporting CMDB, ITIL/ITSM, and Discovery processes.
• Proven collaboration skills with stakeholders to capture and translate ITSM requirements.
• Extensive Service Now development experience, including scripting with JavaScript.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in IT service management and process improvement.
• Deep understanding of Service Now CMDB, CSDM, SLAs, Discovery, and Performance Analytics.
