Job Overview
Nationwide’s Technology team seeks a Technology Analyst who partners with business and technology teams to translate business outcomes into solution requirements. The role focuses on data and process analysis, secure software engineering practices, and delivering secure technology solutions that protect data from threats and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business and technology professionals to understand business needs and outcomes.
- Translate multiple business outcomes into solution requirements using facilitation and visual management techniques.
- Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure data and technology solutions are protected.
- Execute moderate requirements and ensure business alignment using facilitation and visual management techniques.
- Document and clarify requirements work products.
- Provide mid-level analysis related to understanding and meeting business outcomes.
- Verify, trace, and manage functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Conduct complex analysis of relevant data to improve quality.
- Six years of relevant work experience, including software delivery or educational experience within a technology domain.
- Experience delivering technology and/or business solutions across industries, platforms, and lines of business, preferably in insurance and/or financial services.
- Demonstrated capability in managing the requirements lifecycle, including facilitation, elicitation, and documenting requirements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to influence, negotiate, and set priorities.
- Knowledge of planning, insurance/financial services industry a plus.
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred.
