As the Director, Client Strategy & Growth – Public Sector, you will serve as both a trusted advisor to existing government clients and a strategic front door to new agencies. You’ll blend deep public‑sector understanding with technical fluency—leading relationships, identifying modernization opportunities, shaping solutions, guiding internal teams, and ensuring our work drives real impact for agencies and the communities they serve.

Position OverviewYou will uncover and develop new opportunities with state and local government organizations while managing and growing key existing public‑sector client relationships. You’ll translate ambiguous program, policy, or technology challenges into clear paths toward engagement—ensuring our teams deliver value and positioning our organization as a long‑term partner in government transformation.
Acting as the primary client contact for major public sector agency accounts, you’ll oversee solution alignment, remove obstacles, anticipate agency needs, and elevate conversations from transactional coordination to strategic modernization initiatives. You will also lead outreach and pipeline development within the public sector—navigating procurement models, building trust, and connecting agencies with the right solutions and teams.
Key Responsibilities Public Sector Client Leadership & Account Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for key government agencies, managing day‑to‑day relationship needs across multiple engagements.
- Understand the nuances of public‑sector environments—including policy drivers, constituent needs, funding cycles, and legislative priorities—and bring relevant strategic insights.
- Ensure on‑time, on‑budget, and compliant delivery by partnering closely with project managers and delivery teams and removing impediments.
- Lead long‑term agency road mapping, modernization planning, and cross‑department coordination to advance growth outcomes.
- Provide frequent status updates, monthly account reporting, and budget oversight aligned to government transparency expectations.
- Manage account revenue projections, profitability, and compliance with contracts, agreements, procurement rules, and internal policies.
- Build trusted relationships across agency levels—from program managers to CIOs, elected officials, and cross‑agency partners.
- Drive public‑sector pipeline activity by identifying, qualifying, and developing opportunities through outreach, networking, partner channels, and RFx engagement.
- Map ambiguous challenges—legacy systems, regulatory constraints, constituent experience gaps—into structured engagement paths.
- Bring technical fluency to early conversations, helping agencies understand modernization options and solution approaches.
- Collaborate with SMEs, solution leaders, and line‑of‑business leads to craft procurement‑ready proposals, estimates, and SOWs.
- Lead outreach strategies (email, Linked In, industry events, public‑sector conferences) and proactively engage decision‑makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity tracking in CRM systems (Hub Spot).
- Support targeted marketing initiatives aimed at government audiences and follow up on inbound interest.
- Act as a trusted advisor who anticipates agency needs, challenges assumptions, and introduces innovative and compliant approaches.
