GDC IT Solutions is seeking a Data & AI Integration Developer to work remotely with hybrid options in Columbus, Ohio. The role requires residency within commuting distance of Columbus. You will manage the organizational data lifecycle, support SQL Server environments, engineer cloud data pipelines, and integrate data with AI and Machine Learning platforms. The responsibilities include developing secure data systems, optimizing automations, and supporting AI‑driven solutions.

• Database Administration & Performance:
  Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases; manage database security; design backup and disaster recovery plans; optimize T‑SQL procedures.
• AI, Machine Learning & Automation:
  Build integrations with AI/ML services like Azure AI and Google Vertex AI; develop prompts for generative AI; prepare datasets for ML model training; automate data pipelines using Power Shell.
• Integration, Cloud Engineering & Development Support:
  Manage data pipelines between on‑premise systems and cloud platforms; support development teams by optimizing database interaction code in .NET (C#), with exposure to Java and Python; test new software features; maintain documentation.
• Testing, Dev Ops & Quality:
  Write unit and integration tests; troubleshoot application defects; contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements in Azure.

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA and/or strong professional experience developing with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex T‑SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience developing Power Shell scripts for automation.
• Hands‑on experience integrating with AI/ML platforms such as Azure AI or Google Vertex AI.
• Experience with prompt engineering for generative AI models.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and data preparation techniques.
• Experience setting up and managing data integrations with Azure and/or GCP.
• Experience with software testing, data validation practices, and producing technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of .NET (C#).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow, or PyTorch.
• Working knowledge of Python or Java.
• Experience with SQL Server high‑availability solutions.
• Experience using SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
• Microsoft, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
