Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Engineer to support the Privileged Access Management (PAM) team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ETL and database systems, along with strong programming and data modeling skills. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build and optimize data pipelines and systems that are foundational to identity and access management initiatives.

Key

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines to support PAM systems.

  • Work with Pentaho (preferred), or similar ETL tools like Spark or Databricks.

  • Design, implement, and optimize relational database systems using SQL.

  • Write and maintain scripts in Python, leveraging libraries such as Pandas and Num Py.

  • Apply data modeling and data architecture principles to support scalable system design.

  • Support data-related aspects of cloud platforms (experience is a plus).

  • Collaborate with development and security teams to improve data integration, governance, and IAM/PAM compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-centric role.

  • Strong expertise in ETL development, SQL, and database systems.

  • Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with data manipulation libraries.

  • Solid understanding of data modeling and data management principles.

  • Experience with tools such as Pentaho, Spark, or Databricks.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security practices.

  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.

  • Experience with PAM/IAM systems is a strong plus.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Note:

  • W2 only – No C2C or third-party submissions.

  • Onsite presence (5 days a week) is mandatory.

  • Candidates must be local to Columbus, OH or willing to relocate nearby.
