Infrastructure Engineer Sr

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Sr to work in the Columbus, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

• Utilize Azure Dev Ops for continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Manage Azure cloud environments, including monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Administer Linux servers and containers, including provisioning, security remediation, reverse proxy setup, firewall management, SSL, web server configuration, standard plugins, log rotation, backup, and performance optimization
• Implement and manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Podman/Docker)
• Deploy and maintain Linux-based services (VMs and containers)
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Git and Dev Ops practices
• Support software developers in creating stable and efficient delivery environments
• Develop and enhance tools for automating common tasks
• Identify and resolve service issues ranging from disaster recovery to login problems
• Install and configure new servers, hardware, peripherals, services, directories, storage, and settings according to standards
• Create and maintain installation and configuration documentation
• Develop monitoring procedures to ensure optimal system performance
• Research industry trends and technological advances to propose IT improvements
• Provide advice and training to associates and business partners
• Determine technology solutions based on customer needs and business justification
• Act as a liaison to other teams and participate in projects as needed
• Provide on-call support for critical incident resolution

• Minimum of 5 years in IT Systems Administration supporting Middleware/OS technologies
• Progressive experience with Linux and Windows operating systems in both physical and virtualized environments (3+ years)
• Scripting experience with Linux/Unix shells, Ansible, or configuration management software (3+ years)
• Proficiency in automation scripting languages such as Bash, Hashi, Python
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Advanced knowledge of application deployment and incident resolution
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of supporting technologies for servers, including networking and services
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

• Experience with multiple Linux distributions (CentOS, RHEL, Oracle Linux)
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, MySQL, Dynamo, RDS
• Experience with Rubrik
• VMWare, Linux+, RHCSA, or Dev Ops certifications
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and Azure best practices

• Adhere to policies, procedures, standards, codes, and regulations relevant to assignments
• Demonstrate knowledge of infrastructure, environment, components, and facilities to support projects efficiently
• Exhibit proficiency in analysis, design, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service
