Senior Programmer Analyst – Mainframe
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst with strong mainframe expertise to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands‑on experience with COBOL, DB2, and CICS, and a solid understanding of enterprise mainframe applications and systems. This role is critical to supporting and enhancing core banking systems and ensuring operational excellence.
Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL
, DB2
, and CICS
.Analyze system requirements and business needs to design technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Contribute to performance tuning, system optimization, and documentation.
7+ years of experience in mainframe development.
Expertise in COBOL
, DB2
, and CICS
.Strong understanding of batch and online processing in enterprise environments.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues independently.
Banking or financial services industry background.
Exposure to Hogan systems or core banking platforms is a strong plus.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
