As a Security Engineer specializing in cloud and endpoint security, you will be a key player in strengthening the organization’s security posture. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge cloud technologies and advanced security practices—partnering with cross-functional teams to deploy, integrate, and refine security solutions that protect critical infrastructure and data.
Responsibilities- Design, configure, and enhance cloud-based security platforms to proactively prevent, detect, and respond to threats across dynamic environments.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops and patch management teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate misconfigurations or vulnerabilities before they impact operations.
- Partner with incident response specialists to improve alert fidelity, logging, and overall visibility into security events across endpoints and cloud resources.
- Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security strategies aligned with business objectives and evolving industry standards.
- Continuously research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices—integrating innovative defenses into existing tools and workflows.
- Support the creation and maintenance of robust incident response plans, secure access policies, and security awareness initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, cloud security, IT, or related fields.
- Proficiency with major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) across IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS offerings.
- Experience leveraging cloud security solutions, endpoint detection & response (EDR), and posture management tools.
- Familiarity with leading security frameworks such as NIST 800-171, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, or comparable standards.
- Hands-on experience with CSPM/CNAAP platforms such as Prisma Cloud or similar tools.
- Ability to script and automate using Python, Power Shell, or Bash for configuration, reporting, and process improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCSP, or GIAC credentials.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to dissect complex processes, identify root causes, and drive improvements.
