Sr. QA Analyst

Our client, located in Columbus, is seeking a remote Sr. QA Analyst
. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for API and SQL testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing of APIs to ensure data accuracy, functionality, and security.
• Validate and verify data integrity through complex SQL queries and database testing.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Ensure that API endpoints are tested for performance, security, and reliability.
• Create and maintain test data, scripts, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide feedback to improve software development processes and methodologies.

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on API and SQL testing.
• Proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in JIRA, SQL, and API testing tools.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), backend testing, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing techniques.
