Job Description

We are looking for a Core Java + AWS

Position type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Columbus, OH

As a Core Java + AWS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high‑performance Java applications to support critical business functions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement robust, scalable solutions, ensure code quality through best practices, and provide technical guidance on complex issues.

Advanced:

• Must be strong in Java, Microservices, Spring, AWS, and Kafka
• Should be strong with AWS deployment – the team is using ECS/EKS within AWS
• Terraform is a huge plus
• Docker is a huge plus
• Must have 5–6+ years enterprise minimum

Intermediate:

• Must have good Java, Spring, and Microservices skills
• Must have exposure to AWS on the job – should be familiar with deployments
• Kafka is a huge plus
• 3+ years enterprise minimum

NICE to have skills:

• Cultural fit
• Ownership and accountability

• CI/CD
• SRI
• Financial exposure

Pay Range: $59/hr

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
