This position serves as a technical Azure Dev Ops/AWS expert responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based information technology solutions in current and future state. The role includes building, maintaining, and operationalizing infrastructure, security services, and system components in commercial or government cloud service providers to deliver highly available and scalable services. It requires an advanced level of work with minimal supervision and collaboration with other architects and application developers to maintain, improve, and develop our cloud presences across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Service Now, and SharePoint.

Additional duties include a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Server (v2008 and greater) for proper configuration, in support of application/code deployments through any given SDLC, and overseeing it.

• Lead the operational design, maintenance, and operation of cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, Salesforce, etc.)
• Lead discussion and provide guidance to technical teams regarding operational, technical, and procedural best practices and functional experience
• Lead automation efforts to minimize manual work and ensure transparency in all aspects of the secure cloud ecosystem
• Lead efforts with stakeholders to obtain and translate requirements into technical implementations
• Deploy, configure, and maintain containers, Kubernetes, and automation tools
• Lead efforts to integrate existing legacy systems with proposed systems by identifying gaps between the current and future state, and potentially lead the implementation of solutions
• Oversee and develop continuous delivery and continuous integration frameworks and tools
• Setup framework, processes, and operations for infrastructure as code and automation
• Lead technical and end‑user resources to execute detailed tests and analyze testing results
• Document & communicate issues, solutions, and timelines to appropriate stakeholders
• Assist with implementation of customer side monitoring tools and lead operation outage events
• Manage cloud infrastructure including networking, storage, and computer services
• Provide timely responsive technical support and leadership both within and across departments and applications including rotational 24/7 on‑call support

• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Technology or related field
• Current Azure AZ-305 – mandatory
• Current AWS Solutions Architect Professional – mandatory
• Current Salesforce AD201 & AD301 – preferred
• At least two of the following operating system trainings/certifications preferred:
  Microsoft Certified System Administrator, Engineer training/certifications, Microsoft Certified Solution Expert; current Unix/Linux OS training/certifications
• At least 10 years of computer systems analyst/network administrator experience
• 5+ years working with cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) in an enterprise environment
• 7+ years software engineering experience in a team-based environment, advanced experience integrating legacy platforms and applications with cloud-based systems
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills; ability to create and deliver presentations to technical and/or business audiences
• Advanced experience integrating SaaS providers and working in a multi‑vendor integrated environment
• Advanced experience with Web Services, API, REST, RPC
• Advanced knowledge of cloud-based platforms Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of advanced networking concepts, virtualization, and cloud security
• Advanced experience deploying, managing, operating, and monitoring applications in scalable, highly available, fault‑tolerant data centers (both on‑premise and hosted)
• Advanced experience learning, sharing, and implementing best practices with the ability to define operational processes, implement Dev Ops, deployment checklists, etc.
