The Senior Enterprise Architect role aligns architecture support to a specific application or technology suite, and supports that suite through any internal or external impacts. The role contributes towards defining and driving an application or technology area to the target state architecture. It is an individual contributor that works with IT and business stakeholders, provides leadership on key technology initiatives, cultivates relationships with manager‑level leaders, and mentors less experienced architects.

More specifically, the position focuses on Data and Business Architecture. It requires solid data‑architecture experience at strategic and technical levels, expertise in enterprise data concepts (data modeling, data lakes, governance, streams), and familiarity with tools such as Micro Strategy, Azure data services, Snowflake, Databricks, and similar platforms. It also involves creating business‑architecture artifacts (capability models, value stream modeling), aligning data technologies with business goals, coordinating with program and project managers, application owners, and other architects.

• Develop and maintain current and target state architecture for an application or technology area, aligned with business or technology strategy.
• Participate in business and IT planning, create architectural documentation, promote alignment, assist with estimation and prioritization, and lead architecture delivery in projects.
• Ensure functional and non‑functional requirements are met, manage capacity and performance models, document technical debt, and provide thought leadership.
• Produce and maintain a library of reference architecture documentation, review deployed solutions for compliance, and correct deficiencies.
• Manage technical debt introduced or mitigated by programs and projects.
• Contribute to architecture profession capability, participate in internal and external communities.
• Use soft skills to resolve conflicts, communicate complex concepts in plain terms, and guide less experienced team members.
• Maintain proficiency in multiple applications and technology platforms (e.g., Java, mobile development, integration, API management, COBOL, mainframe).
• Support 25–45 business capabilities across an application or technology area, with medium to high complexity.

• Five or more years in Information Technology.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• TOGAF Certification.
• Three or more years IT Architecture experience.
